Buses are for Half Marathoners. Half Marathoners will be dropped off at the start line off River Road at the beautiful Summit Resort.
Yes, you can! Stay at the Summit Resort - wake up & walk to the start line, while your family members sleep-in.
During the registration process runners will choose riding the bus from Rockin’ R or make their own transportation arrangements for drop off at the Rio Guadalupe Resort and then shuttled to The Summit. We highly recommend the bussing option! If you elect to be dropped off, for your safety, vehicles and runners will not be allowed past the Rio Guadalupe. Dropped off runners will take a short 1-mile shuttle ride from the Rio Guadalupe to The Summit.
It is imperative that runners arrive early, in order to insure their bus seat. Should you miss your bus, runners will be given an opportunity to sit in an open seat on the next available bus. Open seats are NOT guaranteed and by no means should be counted on as a way to get to the start line. We cannot guarantee any runner getting to the start line, if runners miss their bus.
DROP OFF: Info coming soon.
Runners will be on the bus for approximately 30 minutes.
Runners that choose to not take the buses from Rockin’ R will have to be dropped off at the Rio Guadalupe Resort, then shuttled to the Summit. For your safety, vehicles and/or runners will not be allowed past the Rio Guadalupe. Dropped off runners will take a short 1-mile shuttle ride from the Rio Guadalupe to the Summit.
Yes, they are! Bus temperatures will be adjusted for the comfort of the runners on race morning. Runners are encouraged to wear layers for suited comfort on the bus.
We understand that friends want to stay together. Chosen cannot accommodate every group or team riding together, respectively. But don’t worry, you’ll see each other at the start line! Families who have registered together will be given first priority and assigned accordingly. Bus preferences are not guaranteed and cannot be changed on race morning. All groups assigned to runners are final.
